This Consultation and any future Fitness Sessions are only for pets that have no orthopedic, neurological, or soft-tissue injuries or any other conditions that would cause them pain. Our fitness sessions are best suited to healthy and active dogs in need of safe, balanced exercise. During this Consultation, you will meet with the Rehabilitation Practitioner and Veterinarian to discuss your pet's medical history and fitness goals. Your pup will then stay with us for full Physical Exam, Gait Analysis, Neurological & Orthopedic Evaluation, and Range of Motion Assessment to ensure that your pet is a good candidate for Fitness Sessions. You will return to discuss findings and recommendations including a customized Fitness Plan for home and in clinic. Should we find any signs of pain, swelling, stiffness, injury, or any other medical condition, your pet will not be a suitable candidate for Fitness Sessions, but we can discuss other options to move forward with Physical Rehabilitation Therapy Sessions as appropriate.

Adequan Injection

*must be booked with a Half or Full Therapy Session

$10

If your Veterinarian has prescribed Adequan injections for your dog, you may bring the medication with a complete prescription label and an unopened syringe with you to your dog’s next therapy session. Upon request, one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians can perform this injection for you. Further conditions apply, so please discuss Adequan Injection administration with the CROC team beforehand.

Miscellaneous

Oops! Couldn't hold it!

We always want our patients to get the opportunity to potty before and after rehab. We very much appreciate when clients take their dog to potty before their appointment so we can spend more time focusing on their treatments. Should your pet defecate during their Underwater Treadmill session, there is a $25 fee to cover the cost of replacing, treating, and heating the lost water and disinfecting the Underwater Treadmill.

Late Pick-Up

Upon dropping off your pet for therapy, you will be given a specific pick-up time. In order to keep patient care as high as we do, we do require that patients be picked up on time so that there is a clean space for the next patient. Pick-ups more than 15 minutes after the specified pick-up time will incur a $15.00 late fee.

Adequan Injections

If your pet has been prescribed Adequan injections but you are not comfortable administering them yourself, good news! CROC has several licensed Veterinary Technicians on our team that can administer these injections for you. There is a $10 administration fee for each injection. Please discuss this with us at your pet's next visit so we can go over the details and requirements for us to administer this medication to your pet.
